I think Microsoft has done a pretty good job on some upgrades, but sometimes it fails, so I would rather take a few hours to do a clean install than having a bad experience with an Operating System like Windows 10. If you think about it, even phones get awkward when you upgrade them, and sometimes doing hard reset is the best way, so compare a locked down OS like Windows Phone to an Open a customizable with horrible win32 developers that do whatever they want with system files and registry, besides the different parts that can make a computer, desktop, laptop, different drivers, devices plugged. and it's not like I couldn't do anything while reinstalling the software, I just had to pay attention when one finished to start the other.īut anyway, upgrades are not a great thing to do, I don't know if you ever did an upgrade before, but they were never great, and they won't be great because of how many changes you can do to windows system files and registry and such.

so I don't get how a music producer will take 'a whole day' especially when you are getting bugs and problem that will cause your Windows experience to be not thebest.īut I had to install like 40 or more different software and few plugins.
